The SS26 Waterproof Madge Jacket in Light Grey/Concrete/Silver is the jacket to keep in the car for outdoor padel in the North West. Flux Active describes it as fully waterproof, and it is light and breathable enough to warm up in rather than something you only put on to watch.
The shell is bonded rather than stitched at the detailing, which is how it keeps water out at the seams, and the branding is reflective so you are visible walking between courts in the dark. Both hand pockets are zipped. It is lightweight enough to fold into a racket bag and breathable enough that you do not steam up in it after a rally. The light grey body with concrete and silver detailing is the paler of the two Madge colourways, and it matches the Madge T-Shirt and Madge Shorts in the same colour. Flux is a Liverpool activewear brand and the Madge line is its answer to the weather here.
Flux says it fits true to size, and it runs XS to 3XL. On the brand's windbreaker chart a medium measures 54 cm across the chest and 71 cm long, with a 66.5 cm sleeve. The full table is in our size guide, or come and try it over a tee in the shop in Aintree. It pairs with the Madge Shorts and Madge T-Shirt in the same colour as a set.
