The SS26 Versatility Shorts in Black/Airforce are the shorts we recommend most often for actually playing padel in. Flux Active cuts them in an athletic fit, closer than the regular fit Gradient Shorts, in a lightweight fabric with four way stretch and a reflective logo. The black body with airforce blue detailing matches the Versatility and Gradient jackets in the same colour.
Athletic fit means they sit closer through the thigh and do not flap when you change direction, which is what you want on a court where you are moving sideways more than forwards. The fabric is light enough for a summer league match and stretches in every direction so a deep lunge at the net does not catch. The logo is reflective and kept small. Flux is a Liverpool activewear brand and describes this as its new minimalist design for the season.
Sizes run XS to XXXL. Flux's shorts chart gives a medium a 40.5 cm flat waistband and a 40 cm length below the waistband, and our size guide has the rest, but with an athletic cut it is worth trying a pair on in the shop in Aintree if you usually sit between sizes. Pair them with the Graphic Logo tee, or with the Black/Airforce Gradient Jacket over the top before and after a match.
