The SS26 Gradient Shorts in Black/Graphite are the shorts version of Flux Active's Gradient tracksuit, cut regular and carrying the same black to graphite fade as the jacket. They are training shorts first, but the muted colour and the small logo mean they do not look out of place on a summer afternoon away from the court.
Flux is a Liverpool activewear brand and keeps these deliberately plain. The fabric has four way stretch, so a wide stance at the net or a sprint back for a lob does not pull at the seams, and the branding is a small icon logo rather than a print. The regular fit sits at a mid thigh length that suits padel, where you want freedom around the hip without the shorts riding up when you move sideways.
Sizes run XS to 3XL in a regular fit. Flux's chart gives a medium a 40.5 cm flat waistband and a 40 cm length below the waistband, so they are a proper short rather than a long one.
