Raquex Elite: Pace is the faster of the two Raquex Elite balls. It is an increased pressure ball, made for slower courts, colder conditions, or players who simply want quicker exchanges. Three balls in a pressurised tube, and we sell it as a single tube or in packs of two, three, four and eight tubes.
The difference from the standard Elite is pressure. The Pace is pumped a little harder, so it comes off the glass and the racket faster and sits up higher, which is what you want on an outdoor court in November when a standard ball starts to feel like a stone. The felt is Raquex's ResistaFelt, a synthetic cloth that repels dirt and moisture, so the ball does not pick up grit and go heavy on a damp court and keeps its nap for longer. It is made to International Padel Federation specifications and it holds up for both training and competition.
Our rule of thumb: standard Elite for warm indoor courts and normal play, Elite: Pace for cold, slow or outdoor conditions. If you are not sure which suits your regular court, tell us where you play and we will point you to the right tube in the shop in Aintree.
