The Pulse Padel Windbreaker is the jacket from Frequency's Court Capsule, made for warming up on a cold morning and for outdoor matches when the wind gets up. It is black, cut close so there is no excess fabric getting in the way of a swing, and it is the third piece of the Pulse Padel tri set.
Frequency, a Liverpool activewear brand, describes the shell as weather resistant: it deflects wind and light rain while still breathing, so you can play a full warm up in it rather than only wearing it courtside. It is a lightweight layer rather than an insulated one, designed to regulate your temperature rather than to keep you warm on its own. The fabric is also engineered to reduce rustle, which sounds like a small thing until you have played next to someone in a noisy jacket. The cut is streamlined and athletic.
We stock XS to XL. Frequency's size guide cuts a medium for a 39 to 41 inch chest (99 to 104 cm) and says the range fits true to size with a close fit, so size up if you plan to wear it over a hoodie. Our size guide has the whole table, and the shop in Aintree has it on the rail to try. Pair it with the Pulse Padel T-Shirt and Pulse Padel Shorts, or wear it over the Grid Tech T-Shirt for training.
