The Adidas Crazyquick Boost Padel in white with black trim is the cushioned model in adidas' first padel specific range, and the one we point intermediate and advanced players towards when they want something softer underfoot without giving up speed. The clean white upper goes with most kit.
The upper is a seamless breathable mesh with Adituff reinforcement over the areas that take punishment, so dragging your front foot through a bandeja will not chew through the toe. Underneath sits a full Boost midsole, which adidas chose for its energy return and its softer, more shock absorbing feel than a standard EVA foam, held in place by a Slingframe construction that keeps the foot planted through hard changes of direction. The Adiwear rubber outsole has deep grooves cut in several directions for grip on the sand dressed turf of a padel court. Tennis Warehouse weighs it at 343 g in a US 9.5 and describes a low to the court ride.
Fit is true to length with a medium width and no break in period, but reviewers note it is snug across the toe box and instep, so if you have a wider foot or a high instep it is worth trying before you buy. We have it on the shelf in the shop in Aintree, so call in and put a pair on.
