The Adidas CourtJam Control 3 is a women's court shoe that puts support and comfort first at a sensible price, and this white and peach colourway is the softer look in the range. We stock it for club players who want a stable everyday shoe for padel without paying top of the range money, and the peach goes nicely with white or navy skirts.
The upper is an engineered mesh with a reinforced toe cap, and adidas wraps Adituff around the front of the shoe to protect against foot drag. The midsole is adidas' Bounce foam for cushioning and rebound, and the Adiwear rubber outsole has a herringbone pattern that adidas rates for all court surfaces. It is a fairly low shoe: an independent lab teardown measured 24.3 mm under the heel and a 9.8 mm drop, so you get plenty of court feel and a firm, planted footing rather than a marshmallow ride. Tennis Warehouse weighs it at 357 g in a women's US 8.5, and adidas states it is made with at least 20 per cent recycled materials.
On fit, opinions split. Tennis Warehouse's testers found the length true with a generous medium width and no break in, while the lab measured it as narrow through the midfoot. Our advice is to try it on, and we have it in the shop in Aintree for exactly that.
