The Wilson Defy Pro V1 SE is the special-edition version of Wilson's pro-level Defy Pro V1, finished in white and gold rather than the standard colourway, and built for advanced players who play from the front of the court and want to finish points with power.
It is a diamond-shaped racket with a 15K carbon face over a Power Foam core, so the ball comes off firm rather than soft, and the diamond head shape puts the sweet spot higher for smashes and overheads. The frame carries Wilson's Aeroexact Design through the throat for a faster, more aerodynamic swing, and an internal impact beam adds stiffness through the mid-frame for extra pop on firm contact. The Duo Grid hole pattern uses larger holes through the top of the face for power and smaller holes lower down for spin and control on the defensive shots.
This is a demanding, power-first frame rather than a forgiving one, so it suits players who already generate their own pace and want a racket that rewards clean contact. As a special edition it is a limited run, so once our stock is gone we may not be able to get more in the same finish.
