The Lola Starr Ultimate Crew Pilates Grip Socks are a white, crew length grip sock made in Britain, in one size to fit UK 4 to 8. They are made for Pilates and studio work, and they are useful for padel players too as a warm up, stretching or recovery sock.
The difference from a normal sock is the sole. Grip socks have a rubberised pattern underneath that holds on a studio floor or a mat, so the sole does the work the fabric alone cannot. Lola Starr's crew version sits higher on the ankle and is cut clean rather than slouchy, which keeps it neat with leggings or shorts. They are the same secure sole as the brand's striped slouch grip socks, in a plainer white.
They are not a court sock: wear them for Pilates, mobility sessions and the pre match stretch, and swap to a padel sock in your trainers. Pair them with the White leggings for a matching studio set. We keep them by the till in our shop in Aintree, so add a pair when you are in.
