The HEAD Extreme Pro 2026 is the heaviest and most powerful racket in the Extreme range, built for advanced and expert players who attack relentlessly and finish points from the net. This black and green colourway is the 2026 release, and it suits anyone with the fitness and technique to swing 370 grams with intent.
The frame is a diamond shape with a high, head heavy balance of 270 mm, so there is real mass behind every smash and vibora. The hitting surface is high stiffness unidirectional carbon, which gives a firm, direct touch, and the rough Extreme Spin finish grips the ball for heavy topspin and slice. Inside, the Power Foam core is a dense, reactive foam that HEAD designed to pass momentum through the ball on aggressive strokes. Auxetic 2.0 sits in the bridge and the centre bar of the grip and flexes on impact to soak up harsh vibration while keeping feedback sharp. The Soft Cap+ butt cap has an exchangeable cord.
This is not a forgiving racket, and we would not put it in the hands of a beginner. If you are moving up from a lighter diamond or a teardrop and want more finishing power, come and hit with it in the shop in Aintree first. We keep overgrips and protector tape in stock, and a head heavy frame like this benefits from a fresh grip every few weeks. Not sure it is the right shape for you? See find your racket.
