The Adidas RX Series Light is a round-shaped, defensive-first racket built for players who want to control the point rather than end it early, with the weight kept low enough to stay manoeuvrable through a full match.
The face uses fibreglass over a round profile, giving the widest, most forgiving sweet spot of Adidas's head shapes. Structural Power, a carbon fibre insertion through the throat, adds rigidity and a bit more pop than a pure fibreglass racket would normally give, and the Smart Holes Linear pattern, with holes grouped in threes, reinforces the hitting surface and improves durability. Structural Reinforcement around the perimeter resists the high torque of off-centre hits, and the EVA Soft Performance core is a low-density foam that keeps the feel gentle.
At 345 to 360g with a low, handle-weighted balance, this is built for control and manageable defence rather than power: a solid step for players moving past their first season who want to hold their own from the back of the court.
