The HEAD Extreme Motion 2025 is the lighter, faster handling diamond in HEAD's Extreme power line, for advanced players who lead from the front of the court and finish points with authority but do not want the full weight of the Extreme Pro. Now that the 2026 model is out, this is also a way into a top end HEAD frame at a lower price.
It weighs 360 grams with a high balance of 270 mm, so there is still leverage behind the smash and the overhead, but the swing weight is tuned for quick acceleration at the net. The hitting surface is unidirectional carbon, which adds stiffness and punch, and the core is HEAD's Power Foam, built to maximise ball speed off the face. The Auxetic construction in the frame improves responsiveness and widens the sweet spot, and the head is a 494 square centimetre diamond on a 38 mm profile. Graphene Inside stiffens the layup without adding weight.
If you are an attacking player who has outgrown a round or teardrop racket, this is a well priced step into a proper diamond. It is a demanding frame, so we would want you to hit with it before buying. Call into the shop in Aintree and we will put it next to the 2026 version so you can feel the difference. A protector is worth adding, as the edge takes a beating on glass.
